No more war and terrorism because of meditation!
No more war and terrorism because of meditation
Every day, when you open the newspaper, check out your smartphone, visit your social media pages or turn on your television, you’re touched by all the shocking events that are happening everywhere in the world. It may seem like we have no power to influence these awful events. But we surely can. By mutually focusing on making this world a better place, we can positively affect this. The question that remains is: How?
Global Meditation organizations
Every day, organizations, schools and other institutes from cities all over the world are working towards something called ‘global consciousness.’ People come together to meditate in parks where they focus their minds on creating less crime, improve happiness and decrease traffic collisions. A contemporary term for it is City Meditation. There are various organizations that aim to bring out loving kindness, which is the antidote to war. They believe that when millions of people around the globe embrace patience, loving-kindness, and compassion, world peace will become a reality.
Proven studies in the past
During an experiment in the early 1980s, during the height of the Lebanon war, 1,000 people in Jerusalem meditated on world peace. Not only did war deaths in Lebanon go down by 75 percent; crime, fires, and other destructive events also went down on the days the group meditated.
In 1984 a study took place at three different gatherings of over 7000 people who did meditation each morning and evening for three consecutive weeks. The results were quite eye-opening. Some scientists believe this is due to a coherent resonance being created in the Unified Quantum Field by those meditating. The 7,000 people meditating created a Field Effect of harmonious coherence that spread throughout the collective–which, it is believed, helped to reduce acts of terrorism.
There are even groups of people meditating in war zones.
The solution is near
Most of the global consciousness organizations don’t cooperate yet, or don’t even know that other organizations exist as well. A lot of the people who are behind these concepts are not very familiar with new technologies and the power of social media. Think BIG aims to change that.
This is thanks to the live-streaming technology of their platform and organizations from all over the world who can sign up with Think BIG to join forces. Together they will start a monthly global meditation through live-streaming webcam sessions in order to stop wars, terrorism and hate in this world. Finally, there’s one place where everybody can come together and focus on their mutual dream; making the world a better and peaceful place.
Next to this initiative they started a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo in order to raise more funding. The funding will be invested in bringing the platform to a next level; enabling it for all mobile phones as well. Visit the Indiegogo page to support their crowdfunding campaign!
