The journey of the soul

The journey of the soul

Pain, discomfort and tension in the body have always fascinated me. Because I believe that they are the greatest teachers we can come across during our lives. They offer us a pathway within to connect with our authentic selves. Away from ego and in alignment with who we truly are. They offer us such great opportunities for personal growth and development. Because every physical experience has something to teach us about the layer underneath which is some kind of emotion that wants to be seen and heard and underneath that emotion there is a mental believe that wants the same thing. A core believe that wants to be seen and heard. It wants to be experienced. And underneath these three layers you will find a spiritual experience which also wants to be seen and heard.

When we are in pain or experience discomfort or tension it’s because we shifted away from ourselves. We are no longer in touch with ourselves. In stead we often push aside or ignore emotions that we don’t want to feel such as hate, anger, sadness and so on. By doing so we miss out on an opportunity to learn about the core believe that we hold in our subconscious about ourselves or the world around us. Core believes that our subconscious formed because of a past experience. This can be a past experience from this life or another life. It is important to be aware of the existence of this core believe so that we can require knowledge and understanding of why we formed such a believe. This is especially the case with a negative believe system. Often a negative believe system indicates that we lost our connection to our authentic self or to the Universe, Mother Earth, God, energy, our higher self or whatever you may wish to call it. It’s the connection that goes far beyond our physical form.

When we are out of balance this often is an indication that we lost our connection with what I call the source. The source can be anything you experience as the source. The source is where every soul is connected with each other. Where life flows and where energy is all there is. Where concepts of man, female, race and so on do not hold any value. To experience the source we must be willing to connect with our truest self. I call this the authentic self. This also is an experience.

On a daily basis connect with yourself through meditation and be open to what is showing up for you. For those who are not familiar with meditation, meditation is being aware of the present moment. Allowing every experience that comes up for you. For instance focus on a point within or outside yourself and be aware of it. If an other experience enters your awareness such as a thought, memory, emotion, feeling, idea or concept also be aware of it’s existence and return back to your focus point. Don’t question your experience and don’t ignore it. Just be aware of what is showing up for you on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level so that you can get a glimp of your soul’s journey. Let this be your guide in being open to the possibility of setting free any form of pain, discomfort or tension that you may be experiencing in yourself or your life. Don’t hold any expectations about it because the soul is just energy and is not familiar with any concept of time and space and must be set free in order to show you what it wants to reveal to you.
